1984 Pinarello Air in original paint with trick, period correct French Roval aero wheelset (18 and 24 bladed spoked front and back wheels, respectively). This wheelset uses sealed cartridge bearing hubs with the front wheel spoked radially and rear wheel spoked cross one on the drive side. The Air tubing was Columbus' attempt at an aerodynamic tubeset, with teardrop-shaped down tube, seat tube, fork blades, and seat stays, and oval-shaped top tube. The fork crown and lugset were proprietary. Based on the tube thicknesses, "the seat stays were equivalent to KL and the chain stays, seat tube and top tube were equivalent to SL, while the down tube was equivalent to SP". The teardrop seat tube requires the use of the proprietary Columbus teardrop section seat post.
