1966 Schwinn Paramount

The Schwinn Paramount P12 was produced from 1959 - 1968, and was the road racing model until the introduction of the P13 in 1964. Unlike the P13, chrome lugs and fork ends were options on the P12. 1966 was also the last year of the Nervex-lugged P12. The Prugnat-lugged P12s debuted in 1967. For a comprehensive Schwinn Paramount site, I recommend Kurt Kaminer's website, The Headbadge (www.kurtkaminer.com/TH_schwinnparamount_models.html). THE BIKE Frame: Reynolds 531.
